There’s not really much I can add to what’s already been said about the 135 GM, a spectacular instrument that we nevertheless seldom see being employed by filmmakers. I’ll confess it was a challenge trying to navigate the narrow passageways of 14 Ton That Dam in district 1 and shooting in seriously cramped quarters with such a long focal length but it paid off in the end. Mounted on the Sony a7s III, the lens never failed to nail focus on the model’s eyes, even when shooting at f/1.8. If I had one complaint, it would be with the MeFoto travel tripod I carried with me that day. I might look into something sturdier like a Gitzo before the next outing.
