“As you may know, the Writer’s and Actor’s guilds here in the U.S. are on strike.

I won’t take the time to go into the full details of it; there are news outlets that have covered it better than I will here.

The most important thing is this:

Artists deserve to be paid really well for their work.

Especially by people who get rich off of that work.

But the response from the studios and streaming companies?

Well, one executive was quoted saying:

“The endgame is to allow things to drag on until union members start losing their apartments and losing their houses.”

Disgusting.

These people want to use the money they made off of the artists’ hard work so they can try to outlast the strike and force these artists into a position to give up… by making them lose their homes… so that these artists keep getting paid less while the studios continue to get rich off of them.

I’m not okay with that.

And I don’t think you are either, Jon.
