The upcoming Apple XDR has 1,600 nits brightness, but only the 2019 Mac Pro can display the full 6K resolution; the panel has just 576 zones of local dimming compared to Asus’s 1,152; and it will cost upwards of $6,000 including stand: nearly double what I was quoted for the PA32UCX-K here in Vietnam. I’m told the Asus should be available in the first half of January.
