Bright Tangerine Titan Arm: Most Stable Configuration

For as long as I can remember, I’d been attaching the Titan arm to the rosette mount of my Benro S8 video head. But it was less than ideal, not only because it increased the likelihood that someone would bump into the attached monitor, it also meant that I was always looking to the side of the camera while filming myself; and it was more prone to sagging, requiring the application of more tension on the Titan’s lever than I’m comfortable with. I’ve since begun to mount the monitor directly overhead, just as I’ve always done when shooting handheld (only with the arms pointed to the side!). The Titan remains one of the best investments I’ve made when it comes to camera gear. Like a Nagra tape deck or Voigtlander lens, it’s just pure joy to behold such exquisite craftsmanship.
