Jared Polin tested out the new firmware update and finds increases of anywhere from 50-100% indoors. Times given are after reformatting the card for 8K when it filled up and after restarting camera after shooting 4K HQ for longer than 29:59. Apparently, shooting outdoors in the heat showed no improvement, but there are significant gains indoors at room temperatures! So you’re probably wondering if I’ll be buying the camera. Probably not, since ambient temperatures here are pretty high and it sells for as much as $5,200.00 USD in Vietnam!
