Field Test II: Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN for MFT

Edelkrone Slider Plus Small

Just as in my previous tests, this clip was shot on Book Street, near the Saigon Central Post Office in Vietnam. This time, half the shots were made with the Zhiyun Crane brushless gimbal stabilizer, the rest with the camera mounted on the Edelkrone Slider Plus Small and iFootage Wild Bull T7 carbon fiber tripod. While the slider is a welcome upgrade over the original version released a few years ago, it doesn’t have enough travel, which is one reason I picked up the iFootage Shark S1. The Shark S1 was the first slider to incorporate a flywheel, dramatically improving the smoothness of slides. I hope to post some results using the Shark sometime in December, when I return from a trip to Malaysia.
