Rode VideoMic Pro vs. Lumix G85 In-Camera Mic, Tap to Focus and ETTR

In this video, we compare the Rode VideoMic Pro to the built-in microphone on the Lumix G85. I have the camera mounted on the Zhiyun Crane gimbal stabilizer. One difficulty I ran into is that with the LCD screen swung out to the side and the mic mounted on the hot shoe, it’s impossible to accurately balance the pan axis on the gimbal. I also test out the tap to focus feature using AF-S. Bonus: exposing to the right. In the next video, I’ll be testing out the RodeLink lavalier microphone with the camera mounted on a GorillaPod.

Below is a shot exposed to the right, followed by the color corrected image along with the Leeming LUT.

In the video below, I use 7.1X magnification, but 10X magnification should work equally well, if not better. The video turned out to be too dark, I went crazy with the sliders, I may reupload in the near future.
