RED Komodo Noise Revisited

No, you’re not having flashbacks, we’ve covered this before. But since we were testing out our shiny new Meike T2.1 50mm s35 prime, we thought we’d take the Komodo’s auto WB for another spin. And just like our other footage where we dialed in our own Kelvin, it looks like there is indeed an unmistakable green tint to the footage, which is easily corrected using Offset. Since we haven’t received our Kolari ND filters yet, we resorted to rating the camera at ISO 250 and setting the frame rate to 40, allowing us to shoot at T3.5. The patch of noise is taken from somewhere in the upper right hand corner of the image at the top of this post.
